Why SIAS


    SIAS University is an American-owned four-year institution, accredited by the Chinese State Education Commission. Located in the birthplace of the Chinese civilization, SIAS was founded in 1998 and has blazed the international education trail in China.

    SIAS is conveniently located on the outskirts of the metropolitan city of Zhengzhou, Henan Province. Zhengzhou is considered the strategic gateway to inland China, and well known as one of the major transportation hubs. Zhengzhou is known as the "Chicago" of China. Henan Province is best known for its rich cultural history as the capital of nine major Chinese dynasties. In close proximity to the world-famous birthplace of Chinese martial arts, Shaolin Temple, the historically rich city of Kaifeng, and the archeological treasure land of Luoyang, SIAS is best positioned to offer step-by-step language and culture studies to optimally immerse Chinese learners in a culturally dynamic and historically enriched setting.

    There are many similar programs in China, but none is as compelling as the one we have at SIAS. Since its inception, SIAS University has been offering Chinese language and cultural study programs to students from around the world, including Australia, England, the Philippines, Africa, Korea, Japan, the United States, and Canada. Some of our former students are employed by international companies, government agencies, and universities. Some of our students hold managerial positions due to their exceptionally strong Chinese and cross-cultural communication skills attained through their formal training at SIAS.

    SIAS has a team of experienced Chinese and international professors and culture instructors, with many years of teaching Chinese to non-Chinese speakers.
